[ICOM] Hekp with Icom FL52A filter

I got my FL52A filter in today for my Icom 756, but can't seem to get it to work.  I made the proper changes in the menus to tell it that the filter is there.  It doesn't seem to set very tightly in the filter slot on the circuit board.  Anyone else have this problem, or have any suggestions?  I don't want to pull out the circuit board and solder it in.  This filter came out of an Icom 718, but the solder is cleaned off the pins very well.  Do the INRAD filters fit better?
