[ICOM] 756 pro II goes to max power on 6m

Recently my ProII started going to max power out on 6M ONLY when the ptt
is keyed.
This happens in all modes regardless of the position of the rf power
control. I have
verified the that the swr on antenna is 1.2.  If I engage the tuner the
radio operates
normal in rtty/cw but will still peg power out in ssb regardless of rf
power control.

I have borrowed a friends Pro II and connected everything the same and
it works properly.

Any help in troubleshooting this will be appreciated.
