It would be nice if, like so many military radios, it had a way
to use an external frequency source. Then you'd just pipe a GPS-
controlled 10 MHz oscillator into it and not have to sweat it.
I wish I had a better answer. If you leave it powered up, does it
still drift, or is it only losing alignment when you drop power?
