I have no idea who would claim to be selling a 775 for $1,200, but you'd 
be a fool to buy the rig from anyone who was doing that.  A good, mid- 
to late-serial  775 without any accessories is worth in the neighborhood 
of $1,800 minimum, if in fine shape and including original manual and 
packing.  Buy the 775 before you ever touch a 756Pro of ANY level, 
unless you really want to waste your money.  The Pros are simply deaf , 
in comparison, and have virtually useless noise blankers. 73 Jan N0JR
