[ICOM] Contest performance of Pro III?

The Pro III performed great...

But frankly my SteppIR MonstIR is making far more difference in the contests
than the Radio...

Having a great directional beam on 40M - 10M was really the difference..

as I could separate out signals just by nudging the beam direction a bit..
something no radio could do alone...

And by the way.....

.. During Katrina...the MonstIR really helped me "Make a Difference" by
pulling out weak signals from people looking for help...

a far more difficult and frankly much more rewarding test than any
contest...

Subject: [ICOM] Contest performance of Pro III?

Now that the recent CQWW DX and ARRL SS contests are history I was
wondering what contesters using the Pro III think about its performance
under difficult conditions. Any particular problems? Difficulty
sorting out weak ones amongst the really loud signals? I would hope the
roofing filter helps. Any comments pro/con?
