[ICOM] Icom 703 Discontinued??

The plain IC-703 has been discontinued.  Closed out at $395.
The IC-703+ is still current and available from HRO and other sources.
P.S.  I love mine.  Get the CW filter from INRAD.  400Hz and better skirts
for less money.

I went to HRO Anaheim over the weekend and was told that the 703 is
discontinued.  They didn't even have a display model.  I hope this is  not
the case,
as I want one for this summer.

As for the 706, I visited Icom Japan and was told to look for a new
replacement at Dayton, presumably the IC-7000.

Any info on the 703 is appreciated.
