For clarification: The default settings are the initial values of the
softkeys right after a system reset (CPU reset). They correspond to the
values which the operator is most likely to select.

    I normally leave the ALC circuit ON all the time and the green light
stays ON. So what's the difference??? I don't understand your interpretation
of default. Also, it is not explained on page 36.

    Anyway, I started this thread and I am going to end it. Topic on this

 The METER Po is the default.  Just like ANT 1, P.AMP OFF, ATT OFF, VOX OFF

and COMP OFF are all defaults.

 

If the lamp were on always, why have one?
