Tony & Watt,
The "ATT" soft-key under the screen (when the scope is active) sets the
attenuation in dB applied to the scope input. It is independent of the
receiver attenuator setting ("ATT" soft-key to the left of the screen.)
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

I think you are refering to the amount of dbs you can reduce the screen to.
Whebn ver strong sinals are present press the button right below to
attenuate the screen so that you can read it better. To much reduction will
make youlose the ability to see the weak signals though so use it with
discression. I was a while before I discovered this feature also. Pretty
neat. Also when you press filter and hold it you can go in and see what you
have your filters set up for. Watt Pretty neat.

Hi all,
A simple question, I hope. When the rig is in SCOPE mode, on the left of the
spectrum scope are some numbers/letters depending what one has selected.
First is GRID info. Under Grid info it says 10dB. What does this refer to??
Is it strength of incoming signals?? i.e. 10dB per horizontal line??
Silly question but its something I have only just noticed.
73's de Tony G8DQZ.
