Hi Bill,

Many thanks for the news.

George was a dear friend and close collaborator of mine. Many of his
excellent technical contributions grace my website; I am deeply saddened by
this loss, but at the same time most honoured that his clear, concise prose
and superb technical knowledge can live on via my site. I was going to
assist George in building his site, but his illness made this impossible.

None of the reflectors will be quite the same again, now that George is
gone. May he be forever inscribed in the Book of Life. My thoughts and
prayers are with his family.

If I may, I shall pass this sad news on to the ic756pro3 and ic746
reflectors, which George used to frequent.
