[ICOM] ICOM PRO II VS PRO III

Has it really been worth the bucks to upgrade from the
PRO II to the PRO III??

Seems like Yaesu when they came out with the Mark V
did not do such a great job on the improvments that it
marked the extra price with the features.. The
Ft-1000mp IMHO is still better.

Incidently the dealers are fast running out of the PRO
II.  AES has a few left.

For those who have the PRO II and PRO III side by side
what major differences have you seen??

Is it really worth the $900 bucks??

Another tidbit the yen is up and the dollar down and
look at the IC 706 now selling for $949 bucks.  Wow
