[ICOM] AH-4 Icom antenna tuner

I am thinking about the AH-4 for my 706 MKIIG.
 
I will run at 100w.
 
I have an 80m dipole and a TH7DX.
 
With the AH-4 tuner and the 706, should I expect that I can work DX on 17  
and 12 better than I can work DX now using the FT 1000MP and TH7DX on 17  and 12 
which is poor, poor, poor.
