[ICOM] Icom IC-2100H mic trouble

Hi Dave,
The HM-133S is a replacement mike for the 2100,
probably because of numerous switch failures. The
older mike which had the failures is the HM-98S.
Several of us around here have one or more IC-2100
rigs with that HM-98S mike. EVERY ONE OF THEM HAS HAD
A SWITCH FAILURE. Two of us had the mike replaced
under warranty, but they failed as well. We have
recouped some of them by squirting contact cleaner
into (or trying to work into) the switch. Not easy to
do.
So far I have not had to buy the HM-133S, but I have
found the best price at R&L Electronics (in the
sixty-some dollar range, I believe).
