[ICOM] Icom FL-44A and Inrad #109

I was looking for a replacement for the FL44A filter used in Icom
R70/71/751/etc, as this filter seem to be out of production, and
stumbled upon a description on how to install a FL44A at
http://www.mods.dk/view.php?ArticleId=2495. In the text they mention
that "If you do not like FL44A, you may consider using INRAD #109, which
will give you a slightly better shape factor."

Anyone here that knows what difference there are between the FL44A and
the Inrad #109? Or perhaps another of their filters would be better to
use as a replacement for the FL44A?

If one was to order this filter from Inrad, any other filter from them
you recommend for an Icom IC-R71?
