Interesting.
Mine is a 3000 SN and it has never reset to 0.00.
But maybe it might!
With one of the diodes cut out, I remember the 02AT
could be keyboard entry to any frequency between
something like 100 kHz to 999 MHZ, but obviously,
it would not work over that range.
Found out early on that mine would step across from
149.,995 to 150.000 and operate up there, even without
modifications.
