Hi Dick, Bert,

Many thanks for the details on the IC-2KL QSK modification. I must admit
that I was being rather conservative in my approach, as I had an IC-2KL and
AT-500 in my station for 10 years and never performed any modifications or
service (other than internal cleaning). My IC-2KL was the standard all-band
model, manufactured in 1989; as I recall, it had an opening in the LPF Unit
cover for air cooling.
