[ICOM] Clarification on Icom 2410 problem RECEIVE Audio

Are you familiar with how these radios operate; i.e., are they new to 
you?  Have they worked properly before?  Could PL-receive be set?  Could 
the squelch be set too high?  Is the problem the same on both VHF and 
UHF?  Does the intermittent transmitter misbehave without a mic 
connected?  Try swapping mics and see if any of the problems follow the 
mics.  Have you tried a CPU reset?

I've got four of these radios and I have never seen this problem (knock on 
wood).
