Hi Warren,
Another very useful resource for information on the Icom "oldies but
goodies" is the Icom Classic reflector run by Frank W3UHF.

Cheers for now, 73,

Subject: [ICOM] This Reflector
Hello All:
I have been here for a short time and have asked a few questions
and gotten some real good advice. I was off the air for a couple of years
and now am trying to get my "retro" Icom equipment back in order, you fellow
Hams have been very helpful to say the least! I was going to crank out
money on new nicd battery packs for my 24AT and 3SAT and got some good
advice on using the rechargeable AA nimh cells. Found a 4-pack of 2500mah
Eveready for $5.99 with charger! I have a 275H that isn't scanning
properly, a suggested fix will likely save me from sending the radio off for
repair. I haven't tried fixing it yet but will report back on that. My Icom
GC-4 has a flaky lcd but I can tackle that once the 275 is fixed.
There are several Icom accessories which may now be discontinued
that I would like to find, if anyone knows where I can get a used/new BP90,
EX-310, CR-64, or a UT-36, let me know. I may also need a new display for my
GC-4. Thanks for your help and advice and 73 to all.
