Dunno. I am quite happy with mine. Especially when used in conjunction
with ARRL's Travel Plus. Once you learn how, you can set up a list of
frequencies in Travel Plus, then send them to the radio. The program will
save any number of configurations. You can even append files to files. I
like it.

I would recommend contacting RT Systems tech support directly with your
concerns. Then have been very helpful to me in the past.
