Thanks Jerry.  Just when you think you had an original thought, you find it
wasn't so original at all.  But it looks like this will allow me to do what
I wanted to do without moving radios all over the city.  (And the house for
that matter).

I keep the 706 in the bedroom.  My newly acquired and now repaired R-9000 is
in the living room.  781 and 820 in the shack.

Those of you who are envious, just remember my wife is a ham, and also
German.  There has ALWAYS been a SW receiver in the living room, and one in
the bedroom.  In fact, it (R9000) is running on Deutche Welle right now.  In
German of course.
