Your mike settings as totally subjective ..
what works for one person is totally wrong for the second person as their
voice characteristics are totally different...
eg. Bass 0 Treble +5 would be for someone who has a deep voice and needs
to emphasize the highs..
Set it on the air with the help of someone who has a discerning ear. You
will be much happier... If you could get on 3840 and hit the audio broadcast
guys (Art Bell, etc) in California... they are particularly discerning and
will help you get it right...

Earl, that is a lot of compression.... I use the SM-20 with the Pro and my
mic gain is 9 o'clock and COMP OFF and MID. ALC is just moving ... which is
desireable. What does your meter show for compression?
I have heard some that use a lot of compression and the audio sounds almost
muffled...but you cannot tell them that...
Interesting stuff....this audio...!
