Hi Trevor,

Pin 5 of the 7-pin V-200 mic plug is connected to the ring of the 2.5mm
plug.

Pin 6 of the 7-pin V-200 mic plug is connected to the sleeve of the 2.5mm
plug.

Looking at the front of the 7-pin plug (pin side), Pin 1 is just to the left
of the keyway.

I have the whole family of these radios - V-100, U-400, H-16, U-16, V-200,
U-200. I use them on the 2m and 70cm amateur bands, as they are
intermod-free.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ
