[ICOM] Looking for Parts for an IC 725

Well - I can tell you of a night-mare.  I was trying to get a part for my
IC-R9000.  There was a "left and right" side.  I ordered one of each.  I got
two of one side.  And twice more they sent the wrong one!

It took forever to convince them that it was wrong.  Turns out that somebody
knocked them on the floor, and just scooped them all up into one bin, left
and right combined.

ICOM was good enough to cover and refund all the shipping etc.  But still, a
simple parts order became a 4-week ordeal.  So I can see why people might be
hesitant to contact ICOM for older parts.  Especially if you don't have some
sort of standing with them - just another call so to speak.

That said - some of the BEST parts service I have experienced has been ICOM.
Thanks to Gary and Mitch.  It is the main reason that I will not have or
work on kenwood anymore.
