[ICOM] ct17 to 706MKIIG

Gee wiz fellows
I am contemplating on buying a interface to CAT my 706.
I hope to connect everything and run it via HRD (Ham Radio Deluxe) 
application.
Will I be expecting this much trouble too??

BTW: The 350 hz filter I installed in it works wonders on CW!
Its a whole different radio!
