Jerry,

Does your At-120 turn on and off with the 706MKIIG's tuner button? I used an AT-120 and it would turn on with the tuner button but would not turn off. I used to tune the 706MKII up to 6 meters and the tuner would turn off. Then we got a modification form the factory and once that was done it worked like the AH-2 or 3 would. It always tuned fine just turning it off before the mod was not possible for me anyway.

I am not sure about the AT-130 how it will work with the ham rigs. Apparently tere was some differences internally in the control section between the AH-2 and AT-120 as shown above with my issue.
