[ICOM] IC-756PRO RASCAL/Heil

Well the guy sending it to me says a friend of his used it
on a 756PRO.

Is it possible that the computer part of it will connect
to the ICOM but not the audio part.

In other words can it control the rigs functions (freq,
filters, ect) but not send and receive audio?

If that is the case I can probably us it as a level
converter until I get a CT-17.

Or can I?

I use the MFJ 1279 for digital audio interfacing anyway
because I have never never had any problems with it on
feedback or noise or anything like that.

I understand I can wire it for the IC-756PRO or just about
any rig for that matter so I really like it a lot.

The Heil mic has the cable and a foot switch with it for
the IC-756PRO so it should connect up to the MFJ like a
regular IC Mike would.

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code
there in the first place is out front of it all.
