[ICOM] Icom 706 and no HF

John, I have one as well. With mine, the transistors that drive the
bandpass relays are toast. I have signals going to them, but no
clicky. Relays check fine, I can jury rig fets to switch the relays,
but can't see to replace the smt components nor can afford to send
back to Icom.
Hopefully you'll have some luck from one of the lists. I've been
asking every so often on 4 Icom lists without even a go-jump-in-a-
lake. hi hi It does indeed made a decent 6 and 2 meter radio, though.
