[ICOM] Icom 706 and no HF

John,

Generally a diode in the bandpass filter causes some of this. I think 
this trouble is listed on Icom's web site under troubleshooting.
Also there is a High Pass Filter that sometimes goes into trouble. 
Its in a small metal box I think on the main unit.
