through a CT-17... all talk together fine...

Have no idea about the Kenwood...

OK you guys,

Here are my questions of the week.
I am a new owner of a used PW-1. I have the amp talking to my 746pro. I
also have a Kenwood 940s that I thought I had a way to power up the antenna
component but no success. Currently I need to have the 746pro on to operate
the TS-940.

No. 1: I tried using a 12V power supply that would come on when the Kenwood
would turn on. Nothing happened. I did connect the pin configuration as
indicated in the PW-1 manual. So am I missing something here.

No. 2: The CI/V connection seems only dedicated to the PW-1. I can no
longer jumper my computer interface (TRX Manager) to the rig or my Steppir
antenna interface. When I connect the jumper to add the TRX connection to
my computer, neither works. I love all these toys but as with computer
technology in the 1980's the inter-relationships were simply not always
worked out. I am anxoius to see if anyone has a solution for this little
nusiance.

Thanks in advance and have a very happy holiday season,
Tony K 3 I P T
