[ICOM] Problem With 756 Pro

Yes - the ANT button (topmost button on left side of LCD). If there 
is no antenna on your antenna 2 connector, accidentally pressing the 
ANT button while on the 80 meter band (or within 2 - 6 MHz in the 
GENE band) will give exactly the symptom you describe.

With the radio on the 80 meter band, press ANT and see if it comes 
back to life. The ANT button toggles between 1 and 2. The radio will 
remember your selection for each frequency segment, which is why it 
still worked on the other bands - it remembered the correct antenna 
switch position for them.
