[ICOM] Icom 718 and Computer

The cable modem archetecture is ~I believe~ the same
as with a DSL modem: The modem will need to be near a
cable connection. You will then connect your computer
to the cable modem with a CAT-5 cable (now available
everywhere- even Walmart)which can be the length of
your house if need be.
You'll see that the connections a very simple.
I think what I would do at this point is let the tech
get the system running (internet connection that is)
and then see if the problem goes away. The dial up
modem might be the sensitive component.
