Hi- Had about the same thing with my TS-940.Was trying to use a home built
cable and couldn't get it to work correctly.I fed the mic jack,which is
ok,but very sensitive.Later got the correct cable and was able to run from
the ACC jack. I now have Icom'sand all run well with Rascal from the Acc
jack. Play with yr gain controls for the sound card .Get back if you need
