[ICOM] 706MkIIG VHF Xmit Problem.

Gary,

Could be as simple as power cord RFI leakage and when you moved the power cord back from the 30 amp supply it was reconfigured so RFI is no longer intruding into the old power supply. 

Also could be a voltage drop and the terminals are tighter now that you reinstalled the power cord onto the old power supply.

Would have been interesting to had a voltmeter attached where the power enters the 706 and see if the power supply was taking a nose dive when the 706 shut down.
