Ron,

The FM filter is about 15 kHz wide and the FMn filter is about 3 kHz wide. Standard FM broadcast is 150 kHz wide and up to 200 kHz with the other data and guard band included.

The problem is the Standard broadcast signal is way to wide for the FM filters in the 756 series. The FM filters in the 756 are for two way communications, where the wide broadcast FM signal is for fidelity.
