[ICOM] Query - Software and the Pros

This is a question for anyone using software such as TRX-Manager to 
control 746Pro or 756Pro (or II or III).

A friend of mine in Europe who's constructing a remote site asked 
whether it was possible to turn the Pro's AGC completely off and on via 
software. 

I know it is not possible to do this with the original 746, but have 
never used software to control the Pros I've had in here. 
Any advice from experienced hands would be most helpful, and I will pass
