Malcom,
I didn't read the text associated with the link I sent. I just wanted to find a
picture of my keyer and have you confirm or deny that the picture matched the
keyer you have.
You use this keyer like a bug, manually moving the paddle to make each "dah" if
you desire. Not a real "bug" but close. I'll have to check the menu on my
IC-746 to see if it has a "bug" setting.
I'll be happy to discuss the wiring of the cable.
I learned on a straight key then got a traditional VibroPlex bug ( I should have
kept it!). I tried iambic but was not comfortable with it so I went with the
VibroKeyer because it was similar to the bug.
