[ICOM] IC970H vs TS2000

Hello...I am sending this querry to both the kenwood and icom groups hoping  to find someone who has owned both rigs. I suspect that for vhf/uhfuse, the icom is the better unit. Perhap that is not so. The Kenwood is a newer design, and may have an edge. i am asking because at the moment, I have no vhf/uhf antennas up and I'm thinking of selling the icom. Would I end up kicking myself??
