[ICOM] IC-756PRO loss of RF output

*SOMETHING TO REMEMBER.*

Just before the FQP Contest (Florida QSO Party) my IC-756PRO, first lost 
50% of RF output. Later I lost all
RF out.

I was ready to purchase (download) a service manual for my radio.

I replaced the IC-756PRO with my old IC-735 for the contest. The old 
workhorse and a vertical did a fine
job, permitting me to make 520 cw QSOs.

Today, I lost RF output from the IC-735 also.

Is this a strange coincident or what?

What is common between my IC-756PRO and IC-735?

ASTRON RS-35M DC power supply.

I tightened the nuts with a plier and both units started working with 
full RF output.

Don't be lazy like me and just finger tighten the nuts when you add or 
remove connections from your
common DC supply.

I learned the hardway.
