[ICOM] CI-V "transceiver" mode?

I don't have the tools or knowledge to do this easily, but am looking
for an ICOM band decoder to drive the antenna relay board in the April
QST, which requires 12 V drive for the antenna selected, instead of a
ground, like most setups.  I think the Elecraft KRC-2 will do it, but
it's overkill.

   Why not use the band decoder analog voltage output?  Just use a PIC or AVR
   with a built in A/D converter.  Seems to me it would be a lot less work.
