Just a thought, Steve, but I wonder if the impedance of the input to the 
RIGblaster Pro is sufficiently different from the IC756ProII to affect 
the frequency response of the mike element? I have no experience with 
either piece of gear but I have seen that sort of behavior in broadcast 
audio systems.
