Glad it worked out and I agree about the manuals. Sometimes the Japanese
into English loses a lot in the translation.
You will really like the amp--you now have a 1000 watt transceiver. I have
the older 4KL and it seems bullet-proof even in continuous modes. I do throw
some extra air at it in continuous modes but I am probably being overly
cautious. The little 12v computer fans are so darn cheap, move a fair
amount of air and are relatively quiet. Used one with my 781 directed at the
rear heat sink and never had a heat problem.
