Hi Jerry,
It probably does not make much difference either way. You could leave the
PW1 powered up, but in standby mode when not operating high-power.
Cheers for now, 73,

I leave the 756ProII on all day and run barefoot most of the time. If I
power up the PW-1 in the
morning for some DX, is it better to leave it on while I'm just listening
(just in case I need it)
or should I power it down? IOW, is there significant "wear & tear" on a PW-1
when it's on but not
transmitting?
Or, should I power it down after each use and power it up again each time I
need it?
73, Jerry K3BZ
