[ICOM] NICE WEB audio filter

No, Adam. I'm using both the IF-DSP and the external DSP audio box. The
combination works extremely well for noise, improvements in selectivity is
zero, as I would expect, but the combination is very good for general noise.
Is it worth buying an external DSP box? Probably not, but I had one, and it
is like a "spit shine" on the audio.

Cheery cheers,

DR

Hi Dave (DR),

Actually, you are doing everything with the IF-DSP in your IC-756Pro -
transparently.

The Noise Reduction feature is only one function of the DSP engine which is
the heart of the radio. I usually leave NR at 50%, for approx. 20 dB
reduction in band noise level. There is not much additional effect above
50%.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ
