I have the MkII. I had to ground everything in my room, including a 2
drawer metal file cabinet sitting in the middle of the floor. I had the
most success with wrapping the power wire and the ground wire in large
toroids. It took a lot of work to ground everything out but then I had
a problem in the car too. The toroid on the power cord, again was the
answer. I still get s-3 noise, and I get bleedover from strong am
stations nearby. (I live between two AM stations located less than a
mile and a half from each other.
