[ICOM] 706MKIIG Separation Cable Mounting Screw?

I just did this, so here goes...

I went to Menards and bought the shortest two metric screws they had.  Splurge for it - they're probably 10-cents a piece.  But make sure you get the shortest ones.

Then try them - one of them will fit.  It's either 4mm or 6mm.

anyone know the size and type of screw for securing the remote cable to the main
