Hi Group  ,   Does anyone know if the Icom IC-208 can be switched to the AM
mode while receiving out of the Amateur Bands ? It receives in the standard
VHF ranges but also receives from about 230mhz to around 900mhz. It needs to
be switched to AM for the 230-400mhz range to be of any use as a receiver.
