The manual doesn't list the commands? Odd... they are the most standardized
commands, found on any rig which supports CI_V. 0x03 is for reading the
frequency, 0x04 is for reading the mode/filter setting.
So:
FE FE (to) (fm) 03 FD
reads the currently displayed frequency. Answer from rig is
FE FE (to) (fm) 03 xx xx xx xx xx FD
(xx) are the frequency information.
FE FE (to) (fm) 04 FD
reads the currently displayed mode and filter setting. Answer from rig is
FE FE (to) (fm) 04 xx yy FD
(xx) is the mode byte, (yy) is the filter byte.
FE FE (to) (fm) 05 xx xx xx xx xx FD
writes frequency data (xx) to the currently selected VFO. Answer from rig is
FE FE (to) (fm) FB FD
if all was ok, otherwise FE FE (to) (fb) FA FD
FE FE (to) (fm) 06 xx yy FD
write mode (xx) and filter (yy) to the currently selected VFO. Answer from rig
is
FE FE (to) (fm) FB FD
if all was ok, otherwise FE FE (to) (fb) FA FD
