[ICOM] IC 756 Display and N4PY Software

Is there any program out there that will allow all functions to be done 
from ones computer including the spectrum sweep? Or can't this be done 
in any terms because of how the 756 (non Pro) is set up?
This brings up another question I always wondered: Is there any program 
out there in general that will act as a spectrum display  for one's 
radio, no matter what kind of radio it is?
