You have about 3 choices here.

1.  Pay the $$$ and get the original from Icom.

2.  Convert over to LEDs.

3.  Buy some cheap after-market lamp, and replace one or more annually.

If you are like most here, 1 or 2 is the way to go.  If you enjoy replacing
lamps, or your radio it one of the easy ones, 3 may be an option.
