[ICOM] ATU INFO PLEASE

Hi Elan,
Depends what you want to do...if you are using near-resonant antennas with a
maximum VSWR excursion of 3:1, the internal autotuners of both radios are
more than adequate. Why would you want to go back to a manual tuner?
If you wish to match non-resonant wire antennas to 50 ohms, any good manual
tuner will do the job. Just remember to disable the internal autotuner when
using the manual tuner.
You may wish to check whether the MN2700 covers 30, 17 and 12 metres.
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ
