[ICOM] Stingy S meter

John,

There might be an S-meter adjustment for FM only but I don't remember. 
Maybe someone here who has a 910H service manual can look at the service 
information to see if that is the case.
would be interesting to see what the receiver sinad measurement is. Many of 
Icom's s-meters are set for 5 microvolts equal S-9 and 50 microvolts equal 
60 over S-9.
I was to present the 910H at Dayton but did not so I returned both the 
operators and service manuals for the IC-910H to Icom before the Hamvention.
I agree from others descriptions of what they see on their IV-910H 
transceivers seems to me the S-meter should be reading more than S-9 for a 
repeater that is only 7 miles away.
